ATTENDANCE & MISSED LESSONS

Ultrasonico is not responsible for missed lessons.  Students have a regular time slot that cannot be filled on a short term basis.  Therefore, payments are not based on attendance, but rather the time slot that is reserved for you.  There are no refunds or credits for student absences.  Giving notification that a lesson will be missed is a courtesy to the teacher but does not excuse payment.  If you cannot attend your lesson, you are welcome to send someone in your place.  Please text Juan at (905) 999-9876 or Lilly at (905) 621-9876 to report absences.

PARKING and STUDIO ENTRANCE
Please park in the driveway (or on the street) and follow the path to the right of the house, past the gate and to the backyard where you'll see the glass enclosed studio entrance.  Just walk right in and wait in the waiting room.

FEES

There are three payment options.

  1. Tuition fees paid in full at the beginning of each session by cheque, cash, or e-transfer.
  2. Tuition fees paid at the beginning of each session by postdated cheques written for the 1st of each month.
  3. Tuition fees paid by cash or e-transfer on the first lesson of each month.

Lessons are either half an hour in length ($30) or one hour ($60).

There are three sessions in a year:

Fall Session:                       September to December
Winter / Spring Session:    January to June
Summer Session:               July and August

INSTRUMENTS AVAILABLE

We have instruments available for you to use when you come for your lesson. This is for your convenience and will save you the trouble of having to transport your instrument back and forth.  Of course, you are welcome to bring your own as well.

TERMINATING LESSONS

A notice of one month is required for students discontinuing lessons for any reason.

PRACTICING

To maximize their learning and get the most out of the lessons, students should practice 5 times a week, at least 30 minutes a day. It is strongly suggested that students practice for a short time right after each lesson as studies prove students are able to retain 50% more of what they learned that day.
